Second life is awesome

I love playing on second life. It is my home away from home, my happy place, and its where I go to get away from my troubles. Recently I have been thinking though, about how I could use it to make more money. If you build or make avis you can really make some L, which you can them transfer into cash, however I would love to know if there are any other ways to earn money besides dancing, and building and such. Also does anyone know of any 3d modeling software that you can use to build avis. I would like to give it a try.
